The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, has set to hold the grand finale of the Web/mobile app software development competition.
This development came into knowledge through a flyer from the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Development), Professor Yusuf Saidu. It invites members of the University community and the public to the event, which will take place at the University auditorium, Main Campus, on Wednesday, the 5th day of January 2022, at 10:00 am prompt.
Recall that the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Development) declared the competition open for participants in July 2021. It aims to harness the potentials amongst youths whilst strengthening their fortes and investing in them, contributing to the growth of the technology and innovation sector.
The grand finale of the competition, which will hold on Wednesday, will have the Vice-Chancellor of the University as its Chief host and the DVC, Research, Innovation and Development, Professor Yusuf Saidu, as its host.
The keynote speaker for the day is Dr Nasir Abubakar Daniya (DG ICT Directorate, Sokoto State) with Mr Kashif Inuwa Abdullahi (DG NITDA) to chair the occasion.
