On the 20th of December, 2021, the management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, through the office of the Registrar, Admission unit, announced the availability of academic session deferment form, for students who were admitted into the institution for the 2020/2021 academic session, but were unable to register due to some reasons.
This development was contained in a circular signed by the admissions officer, Mallam Shehu Abubakar, with the headlines "GENERAL NOTICE" where students were informed about the deferment form.
According to the released circular, the deferment form is available for sales through REMITA, and it's only for candidates who were admitted for 2020/2021 academic session but were unable to register due to one reason or the other.
"The form costs fifteen thousand naira (#15, 000), and it is only obtainable at admissions office," the circular reads.
