The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has held her annual orientation programme for the newly admitted students on 22nd December 2021 at the Faculty of Social Science Auditorium (FSSA).
Recall that the Dean Students' Affairs announced on the Matriculation day for new students that the University will organise an especial orientation for the students of various departments before an official release of timetables from the management.
The programme was held at different venues and on the same day. The theme of the programme is "Towards A Successful Academic Study In The University". The event had in attendance the following important personalities of the university:
Dean of Faculty of Law.
Dean of Faculty of Agriculture.
Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences.
Dean of Faculty of Engineering.
Director of COSE.
Representative, Abdullahi Fodio Library.
Chairman of Examination Misconduct Committee.
Chairman, Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit.
Other important personalities.
Hawawu Magaji, a 100-Level Student of Agriculture expressed her joy over the orientation programme.
"It's well, I'm excited and I really enjoyed it," she felt delighted.
Usman Umar Faruk, a 100-Level of Political Science expressed his happiness over the programme, noting that he really gained a lot from the orientation programme.
The event ends with questions and answers sessions and the vote of thanks was delivered by IB Khalifah, a representative of the Students' Union Caretaker Committee.
