SU-UDUS Invites Students to Inter-Tertiary Institution Climate Change Debate

The Students' Union Caretaker Committee of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has, through a flyer, invited the students of UDUS to the first debate programme after the establishment of a debate club in the institution. The debate is said to be an inter-tertiary institutions climate change debate. 


Recall that on Saturday, 19th November, 2022 the SU-CTC, launched a Debate Club on UDUS campus which was named 'Debate Club of UDUS'. 


According to the flyer released by the SU CTC on 29th November, 2022, the debate was said to be organised by GO GREEN FOUNDATION, in collaboration with Mariya Tambuwal Development Foundation.  


The message on the flyer reads: "Students’ Union Government (CTC 2021/2022) Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto cordially invites fellow Danfodites to Inter-Tertiary Institutions Climate Change Debate. 


“To be organised by GO GREEN FOUNDATION In collaboration with Mariya Tambuwal Development. From December 1st to December 3rd 2022 at International Conference Centre, Kasarawa."


Muhammad Shamsudeen Umar, the SU Caretaker Committee chairman said that there would be free transportation means to convey interested students to and fro the venue of the debate.


“The venue of the debate would be Auditorium in Sultan Maccido Institute For Qur'anic and General Knowledge, not International Conference Centre, Kasarawa as captured in the flyer,” he clarified.
