UDUS Management Advises Students to Activate Admission Statuses on Jamb Portal

The management of the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has advised the undergraduate students who were unable to accept their admission from JAMB portal and have not printed their admission letter, but got admitted into the institution in the year 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 respectively, to visit any JAMB office nearer to them to re-activate their admission statuses on the JAMB portal.
This was disclosed in a circular sent from the office of the Registrar, Admission unit and was signed by the Admission Officer, Shehu Abubakar, for Registrar, on Monday 20 December, 2021.
The circular reads; "This is to inform students that were admitted into various degree programmes of the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto during the above mentioned sessions, who were unable to accept their admissions from jamb portal and have not printed their admission letters that as a matter of URGENCY, they are advised to visit any jamb office nearer to them for re-registration."
The circular also read that the directive includes students that have been admitted through Matriculation programme of the University.
"All part-time students admitted during the above mentioned sessions are also to do the same in order to have their data captured in the jamb admission portal and have their jamb admission letters printed," it reads.
The circular, however, warns that failure to register as requested, may affect such student's participation in the National Youth Service Corps ( NYSC) scheme/NYSC certificate of exemption.
