ROTAFODIYO INDUCTS 21 NEW MEMBERS

The Rotaract club of Usmanu Danfodiyo University inducted 21 new members on the 25th of May 2018. The induction was after thorough screening and training of the intending members by stakeholders of the club.
The induction ceremony took place at A40 lecture hall, where the humanitarian club held their weekly fellowship.
The president of the club, Sekinat Musa Bawa while addressing the Press described the induction exercise as part of the achievement of her administration, in her words "As a president I feel proud and I am very grateful to God that my administration is able to induct new members and of course it is borne out of the cooperation between myself and other executives".
She enjoined the new members to be dedicated and prepared to partake in humanitarian service.
The staff adviser, Rotarian Sheikh Danjuma Abubakar while speaking with the press lauded the newly inducted members for performing very well during the screening exercise, he said "Since the establishment of the club in the university, this is the first time that females made 90% of the inducted members. I will advise them to serve the club diligently and be acquainted with the ethics and morals of being Rotaractors as induction isn't the end of a rotaractors journey
The chairman of the committee on induction, Rotaractor Abdulrahman Muhammad Ganiyat described the inducted members as members who have been thoroughly trained on the history, constitution, bye-laws and goals of rotaract club before being inducted as qualified members.
