School Fees: UDUS Management Invites Students for Meeting as SU CTC Pleads For Deadline Extension

Sequel to the deadline for payment of tuition fees, the Students' Union Caretaker Committee of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has pleaded with the Vice-Chancellor of the University, for the extension, on behalf of the students who are financially handicapped and are yet to make the payment.
Recall that the University Management released a circular signed by Mallam Ahmad Chafe, (Director, MIS) on the 30th day of December 2021, stating the extension of closure of portal for registration from the earlier 3rd January to 9th January 2022, where he said that students were expected to have made their payments of school fees and register their courses before the new deadline.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, has however acknowledged the plead of the Students' Union Caretaker Committee, and has agreed to consider the students, but on conditions.
According to the press release from the office of the S. A on media and publicity to the CTC Chairman, the conditions which the Vice-Chancellor said, shall be disclosed to the affected students today Friday 7th January 2022 at A20 Lecture Hall, by 12:00p.m.
"All those who have financial instability and are unable to pay their tuition fee should as a matter of urgency be present in the meeting," the press release reads.
