Prof. ML Ahmadu Chamber Orientates New Associate Members

Professor ML Ahmadu Chamber, one of the four Chambers in Faculty of Law, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has held her annual orientation programme for the new associate members of the chamber.
The programme took place around 3:00 pm in the moot court of the faculty and the event had in attendance many important personalities which include; the Chief Judge of LSS Judiciary, Chief Registrar, the head of the law clinic, and other distinguished officials at Law Students' Society Judiciary (LSS Judiciary).
The principal partner of the chamber, Mr Isa Abdulkareem welcomed the new associates into the chamber, advising them to prioritize both the procedure and substantive aspect of law as both are interrelated and could not be separated.
He also urged all members to always participate in the activities of the chamber as it always improves the academic performances of students.
The Chief Registrar of LSS Judiciary, Malam Muhammad Abubakar, while encouraging the new intake associates, noted that they should be very serious with their studies being their primary assignment on the UDUS campus. He equally urged them not to lag in the chamber activities, noting that it will be of help to them when they get to Law school.
"Take your time to participate in the proceedings as it's said that the beauty of law is in practice," he urged.
The Head of the Caliphate Law Clinic, Mr Ishola Abdulsamad while encouraging the new members said he has nothing much to say to the new members but that faculty itself will deal with them over time depending on how they spend their time in the school in general.
"I cannot encourage you guys, rather the faculty itself will surely encourage you as long as you stay in it," he explained.
Mr Ishola Abdulsamad later went on to further his advice to them, urging them to read their books and be focused on what they might aim to get at the end of their university programme.
In an interview with Abdulrasaq Kamaldeen, a 100-Level student of law who is also a new associate, expressed his intense happiness over the educative programme, stating that it was educative and interesting.
"I'm very happy being a member of the chamber and I promise to do all that is needed in uplifting the existing good name of the chamber," he pledged.
Speaking with Ajibade Noimat, a 100-Level law student and equally a new associate noted that the programme was in fact motivating and interesting.
Ajibade while stating her solemn commitment to fully participate in all the activities of the chamber assured herself to perform excellently well in all her primary assignments.
"I'm happy and I feel honoured being a member of this great chamber, my primary assignments as per being a law student is what I'd always prioritize," she vowed.
