Pandemonium in UDUS as Unknown Student Shoots Bangers in ETF3

Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed reports,

Commotion in ETF3 as an unknown student of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, shot bangers which put other students reading in the hall in terrible apprehension and risk.

The incident occurred yesterday night, 13th December where many students were put into fear when they heard sporadic sounds of shots which the students thought to be a gunshot. Some students were wounded while some were put in a state of apprehension.

"Wallahi, I thought the sounds were from bandits. It amazed me because it is weird here in UDUS. This school is the most peaceful university in Nigeria and it has never been in history that such a thing happened. I pray that we encounter no calamity," Mohammed prayed.

Yahaya Babalola, a 100-Level student of Political Science said a female student nearly fainted and other students almost stepped her to death. He added that some students started reciting ample Quranic and Biblical verses.

"I wish we caught the oaf who caused this. We all ran helter-skelter like goats. Our hearts have gone. May we not be unfortunate. I don't know why some people behave antisocially like a baboon," Tiamiyu Baki, a 100-Level student of English Language commented.

AbdulLateef Maryam, a 200-Level of Law said she would be glad if the perpetrator of the senseless act was caught in order to face the wrath of the law.

“They would have seen peppers, UDUS is no joke area," she noted.

The other students pleaded that strong securities should be around to prevent unforeseen scenes like this.

As of the time of filing this report, PEN PRESS does not know the person who caused the ungodly incident as students contended to have heard it from the back.
