The Head of Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education and Extension Services, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has directed all the students of the department to submit and update their files.
The HOD communicated this through a memorandum signed and released from his office.
The circular reads thus: "This is to inform all the students of Foundations from UG1 to UG4 that everyone must submit and update his or her files before 10th of January, 2022."
Recall that three (3) yellow files are always given to every new student of the university after receiving confirmation letters at the confirmation venues.
According to the University management, these yellow files are to be submitted by every student to three different places, where they will be updating them until their final year in the university for records purposes.
The three places to submit the yellow files are the students' programmes departments, their faculties, and the Students' Affairs Division.
The documents to be included in the yellow files are photocopies of all the credentials that were submitted into the first yellow files given on the confirmation day, the photocopy of school fees payment (remita and receipt), a copy of form02, photocopy of the clinic registration form (for new students), and the photocopy of signed course registration form.
The HOD, however, warned the Educational Foundations students to take note of the deadline given to them.
"Failure to do this may deny the student from sitting for the exams," the circular concluded.
