The president of the National Association of Kwara State Students, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto chapter, Abdulqudus Kolawale (Liberty) welcomed the newly admitted and returning Kwara state students back to the campus in his opening remark at the weekly congress of the association, held on 7th November, 2021 at A132 class.
He said, “I am very excited to welcome the newly admitted and returning students to the most peaceful university in Nigeria. The university that can never be compared to any other universities.”
He also advised the members, especially the new intakes, to take studies serious as the school motto "Iqra" constantly reminds, which means that there's no academic success in UDUS for students who do not make reading their top priority.
He proceeded, "Usmanu Danfodiyo University does not give you a certificate unless you are qualified, and here's a citadel of learning that awards certificates based on both learning and character."
Going further, he emphasised on the need to be morally and behaviourally cautious, wishing his comrades a successful stay throughout the course of their study and struggle (sic).
