NAKSS UDUS holds Orientation Program, Awards Best Indigenous Students From Each Faculty

National Association of Kwara State Students, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto Chapter, held an orientation program for her newly admitted members on November 21, 2021.


The program, which took place at A132 lecture hall, was graced by august student personalities, including JC Salami Mustopha, Adeyemi I. Muhammad (ADRAT) and local Chapter Presidents under NAKSS, UDUS. It also featured award presentation ceremony to Kwara stste students who have performed excellently in the academic realm across several faculties.


In line with the agenda of the event, two speakers did justice to two topics. JC Salami Mustopha spoke on “Education Without God; A Recipe for Disaster” while the second speaker, Adeyemi I. Muhammad (ADRAT) spoke on, “Academic Excellence; A Roadmap to Success”. These were to enlighten the new students and their returning counterparts.


The award which was early centrally open for all NAKSSITE in every faculty in UDUS was presented to eight prospective students in accordance to submission protocol.


These students bagged the award of excellent for their effort in achieving high great of CGPA.


The awardees include, Edun Sultan from Faculty of Management Sciences, Olokooba Abdulwasiu from the Faculty of Law, Sulyman Abubakar Onigbari from the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Abdulgafar Habeebllahi from the Faculty of Clinical Sciences, Azeez Adekunle from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Legbo Felix from the Faculty of Agriculture, Abolaji Abdulsamad from the Faculty of Sciences, and Abdulganiyu Abdulrahman Akanbi of the Faculty of Arts and Islamic Studies.


NAKSS UDUS also achieved a grand feat by launching the first ever souvenir of the association.
