The Centre for Advanced Medical Research and Training (CAMRET) Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has called on potential candidates willing to enrol for Masters in Biochemistry and Veterinary Microbiology for the 2021/2022 academic session.
This was contained in a letter sent from the body on Wednesday 17th November 2021, and signed by its committee, having its headline, "Funded MSC Programme".
Part of the letter read thus: "The candidates will be working on PROJECT TITLE: Development of Multiplex Real-time PCR Assay for Rapid Diagnosis of Tropical Fever.
"RESEARCH FOCUS: bioinformatics, nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and Gene expression."
The letter, however, added that prior experience in bioinformatics with molecular techniques is added advantage.
"Sponsorship covers all research consumables, reagents, and chemicals but not tuition or stipend," it stated.
According to the letter, the application deadline is Friday 26th November 2021, and applicants are directed to forward their application letter, curriculum vitae (CV), and cover letter via this email: research@camret.com.ng or call 09028115921.
