Ayoade Zariat Yetunde reports,

The Students' Union Caretaker Committee, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has warned the class representatives to stop collecting money for stamping or printing of examination cards.
This was contained in a circular released on the 4th Of January, 2022 from the office of the Students' Union CTC through the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Comrade IB Khalifa.
Recall that the school has earlier asked all students to print and stamp their examination card before the commencement of the 2020/2021 first semester examination, noting that printing and lamination of exam cards are a students' responsibility and not the duty of the class representatives.
“It has come to the notice of the Students' Union CTC that students are being ordered to buy a departmental or faculty receipt before the stamping of their examination cards. This is seriously outlawed as provided by the top-level authority, especially the examination monitoring committee (EMC).
The union hereby call the attention of all faculties and departments especially class representatives to avoid collecting money from the students before obtaining their exam cards for stamping.
The union, however, expressed their gratitude to the class representatives of each department and faculty for their support and efforts towards serving the students.
