The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Lawal Suleiman Bilbis, and the Registrar/Secretary General Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, Alhaji Faruk Abubakar, have invited the general public to the induction ceremony of the 2019/2020 Nursing graduands at UDUS into the Nursing Profession.
This was contained in a flyer, where the Vice-Chancellor and the Registrar cordially invite the general public to the third edition of the induction ceremony which will take place on Thursday 23 December 2021, at the University Auditorium, Main campus, by 10:00 a.m prompt.
According to the flyer, the chief host is the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. L. S. Bilbis. The host is Dr. A. M. Sani (Dean Faculty of Allied Sciences). The co-hosts are Dr. Anas A. Sabir (CMD UDUTH) and Prof. S. A Saidu (Provost CHS).
The Royal father of the day is the Sultan of Sokoto State, His Eminence Alh. Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III.
The chairman of the occasion is Hon. (Dr) Balarabe Shehu Kakale (Member Representing Bodinga Dange-Shuni and Tureta Federal Constituency.
The Guests of honor are Hon. Dr. Ali Inname (Commissioner of Health, Sokoto State), Hon. Alh. Aliyu Abubakar (Commissioner of Health, Zamfara State) and Hon. Jafaru Muhammad (Commissioner of Health, Kebbi State).
