"Registration Portal will be officially closed on Monday, 3rd January, 2022,"– Says Director, MIS, UDUS

The Director, Management Information System, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (MIS, UDUS), Mallam Ahmad Isah Chafe, has on 21st of December, 2021, informed the entire students of the institution that the portal for registration will be closed officially for the 2020/2021 academic session on Monday 3rd January, 2022.

The Director disclosed this on a whatsapp platform "Blended Learning", purposely created for interaction between the ICT staff and the students, where he directed all students that have not registered for the session to do so.

The topic of the message reads: "Registration Portal Closure"

His message reads: "This is to inform all students of Usmanu Danfodiyo University that the Registration Portal mis.udusok.edu.ng will be officially closed on Monday, 3rd January, 2022."

In an exclusive interview with the Director, he said that all students are expected to have paid their school fees and finished their registrations before the stipulated date.

"Any student that fails to register by that date MUST defer the session," he said.

When asked about the students on States scholarships, the Director replied that if their money is failed to be paid on that date, their students may have to defer the session.

"The University cannot afford to leave the Portal opened with exams starting about a week from that date," he added.
