"Your course registration and hostel allocation will not be revoked," Director, MIS, UDUS Assures Students

The director of Management Information System (MIS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Mallam Isah Ahmad Chafe, has clarified that the problems confronting the students in generating Remita invoices for school fees and other payments issues are not from the MIS, but from Remita.

This was disclosed in a memorandum released and signed by the head, Software Development and Maintenance, for Director, MIS, on the 3rd of November, 2021.

The notice read thus: "We understand that you are currently facing difficulties in generating an invoice, paying and verifying payments with regards to payment of school fees, hostel, TSHIP, e.t.c which is due to some technical challenges from REMITA platform, some of these errors include;

1. Your Transaction was not successful "An internal error occurred"

2. You have not generated an invoice yet "An internal error occurred"

3. Incorrect result size expected 1, actual 0."

The director, however, assured the students that the MIS will find a lasting solution to the problem, noting that they have got in touch with the REMITA to address the problem as soon as possible.

"Your hostel allocation will not be revoked and course registration will not be closed until all technical issues are duly resolved," it stated.
