The Law Students' Society Judiciary, Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Chapter, under the administration of the new chief judge of the faculty, Soliu Jamiu Ishola has put forth a new landmark in the history of the faculty by organising a bar final exam for the newly admitted law students into the faculty before calling them to the bar.
The examination was scheduled to hold on Friday, 12, Nov 2021 at the faculty of Law moot court. The Call to bar final examination is a mechanism towards exposing the newly admitted students into law to the procedural aspect of law and after the exam, the new students would be partitioned into different chambers in the faculty for proper training and moot trial.
In an interview with the Chief Judge, LSS Judiciary, Soliu Jamiu Ishola, he stated that the examination was more of a motivation and a clarion call to the profession, noting that the examination questions would be based on the preliminary aspect of law.
He added that a series of procedural classes have been organised to prepare them for the examination.
