The Centre for Advanced Medical Research and Training (CAMRET), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, is calling for potential candidates willing to enrol for masters and or Ph.D. in Biochemistry (Faculty of Sciences) and or Veterinary Microbiology (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto for 2021/2022 academic session.
This was stated in a memorandum sent from the CAMRET body, on Sunday 10th October 2021 and signed by its committee.
The memo read thus: "The candidates will be working on PROJECT TITLE: Development of Recombinant Vaccine Against COVID-19.
"RESEARCH FOCUS: molecular cloning, cell culture, transfection, bioinformatics, ELISA, immunofluorescence, flow cytometry, western blotting, and Gene expression.
"Prior experience with bioinformatics, molecular techniques, or cell culture are added advantages.
The letter further noted that sponsorship covers all research consumables, reagents, and chemicals but not tuition or stipend.
