Danfodites Should Remain Calm, Justice Will Be Brought To Book~ ZTC Chairperson

The chairman of Zero Tolerance Club of UDUS has admitted yesterday the recipient of the petition from the SU executives led by Comr Faruku Barade to probe the financial transactions by the immediate past administration of the Union body under Ibrahim Shehu Kalgo.

While responding to question from PEN PRESS reporter, Usman Jibril, a 400L  student of Sociology who doubled as the incumbent Chairperson Zero Tolerance for corruption Club ZTC EFCC UDUS says the next step by the club is to commence an investigation into the matter.

Recall that the arguments from the two sides(present and past) of the union has gained harder momentum sequel to the petition written by the SU president, Barade, to make sure that the past administration come and explain themselves in public on how the money belonging to several thousands of students will only be connived by few students representatives without proper accountability and transparency on how the money was spent and judiciously managed.

However, ZTC chairperson said that the process for the commencement of findings will come up by next semester owing to the fact that all the club officials are now on vacation to their respective dormitories because of the school vacation.

When asked that what should Danfodites anticipate from the task saddled on them to make sure that justice prevails? And when should they be ready to hear from ZTC by next semester which will begin by 22nd of this July? He said: "We employ all Danfodites to remain calm as we will stop at nothing to ensure that culprits are brought to book and justice served, there will be no sacred cow".

Further stressing their commitment to ensuring that the responsibility is carefully delivered at the right time. "I don't think I can supply you a stated date, it all depends on the early return of our officials, and as you are aware, UDUS students are fond of returning late" He replied.
