Arsenal's Gabonese forward Aubameyang, Liverpool's Senegalese Forward Sadio Mane with his Egyptian teammate Mó Sallah; all ended the Barclays premier league campaign as joint top Goal scorer.
Liverpool's Sadio Mane and Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both scored twice on the final Sunday to share the Premier League's Golden Boot award for top scorer with last season's winner Mohamed Salah.
Arsenal's Gabonese forward Aubameyang had a second-half double that helped the Gunners to a 3-1 win at Burnley.
They all ended on 22 goals for the league campaign after Senegalese forward Mane scored twice in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers to join his Egyptian teammate Salah.
The league has now gone from being dominated by British players to a hub of global talents. Zimbabwe international Peter Ndlovu became the first player from the continent to feature in the Premier League when he played for Coventry City in 1992.
After the Premier League was created in 1992, it took nine seasons for an African player to finish in the top ten in the race for the Premier League's Golden Boot, as Malian Frederic Kanoute, then of West Ham United, scored 11 in the 2000/01 campaign.
