It is no longer news that PEN PRESS UDUS is the best press board on the soil of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. Earlier this year, the press outfit won the award of "Best Local News Agency" across the country in a glamorous event. The board is always at her best to disseminate promptly, accurate and reliable information to the entire populace of the university community through prints and online media. The board is
coasting to 13,000 followers on her official facebook page which is second to none in the entirety of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto.
Newly admitted students in the 2018/2019 academic sessions cannot keep their appreciations to the board, in an interview with Adoyi Peter, an indigene of Kaduna State newly admitted into the Department of Medicine and Surgery, College of Health Sciences, he said, ''I'm pleased to say that now I am a confirmed Jambito in the most peaceful university in Nigeria. As Robins Sharna always put it, ''greatest results doesn't show up by chance, it takes patience, consistency and perseverance''. First and foremost, I must throw accolades to Almighty God for His grace by making it possible for me to secure admission into the much coveted Department of Medicine and Surgery in the College of Health Sciences. Meanwhile, the efforts of the most recognized press team in the institution, PEN PRESS UDUS cannot be overemphasized. PEN PRESS UDUS and her team have been tremendously helpful in information dissemination among other things. The channel did not only enhance my confidence in the admission process of the university but also created a leeway of networking with people that matter. UDUS is peaceful, unique and of course wonderful. The university is wonderful by ensuring that students understand their reason or being in the university.'' He also acknowledged some important personalities who are not members of PEN PRESS UDUS in the university.
Adegoke Abdulsalam Babatunde from Kwara state who was admitted into the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences replied, "PEN PRESS UDUS is the best. I think I will rate their activeness 90%".
Another new student from the Department of Medicine and Surgery whose name is Abdullateef Aliyu who hails from Kogi state said, "they (PEN PRESS UDUS) are 100%. PEN PRESS UDUS was my only source of knowledge about UDUS. I have searched a lot online about UDUS, but all thanks to PEN PRESS UDUS when I followed their page on Facebook. I was able to get first hand information about incidents in the school."
In another interview granted by Wahab Hussain Kehinde from Oyo state who is a newly admitted student in the Faculty of Law, he said "PEN PRESS UDUS is the intermediary between the varsity and her objects. The tireless and restless efforts of this genuine and generous association named PEN PRESS UDUS cannot beoveremphasized, in terms of guiding the aspirants (now students) just to unleash burden and stress from us while registering without any token. In every aspects pertaining to problem(s) often encountered, it gives us panacea to the problems and remedies to those maladies, also let us to know how, when and way to tackle it. GOD BLESS PEN PRESS UDUS!". He also regarded some members of the Press board who have all contributed their quota in guiding him right to the procurement of his admission.
